In about a week, we’ll find out which Michigan State men’s ice hockey prospects will arrive in East Lansing for the 2023-2024 season. Since these players can play in junior hockey until they are 21, arriving as an 18-year-old player isn’t always a given. In fact, most college players actually start their college careers as freshmen when they are 19.
Today, we’re going to rank these players on pure potential. I’m not concerned about where they’re at in development or how good they are right now, but rather what their ceiling is and how far exactly can they go.
