Video: Dionte does it all
Orchard Lake Saint Mary's prospect Dionte Allen is one of the top recruits in the nation for the class of 2006. He is a surefire member of the Rivals100 and SpartanMag.com ranked him #2 in Michigan in our pre-NIKE Camp rankings. Michigan State is hoping to have Allen end up wearing the Green and White.
Allen is a dynamic athlete on the football field and most teams like him as a lock-down cornerback. However, he could also see some time on offense as a wide receiver in college. Allen has excellent hands to go along with good size and speed.

In addition to possibly being a two-way player on the gridiron, Allen has the talent to play some basketball in college as well. Anyone who has seen him play defense on the hardwood knows what we are talking about. Allen's quickness and toughness is a desired attribute for Big Ten basketball.
Allen may never be a high scoring threat, but he can play the type of defense college coaches like to see. It doesn't hurt that he has been checking his friend Kalin Lucas for years in practice and in pick-up games.
