Michigan State continued to recruit well on the home front with a commitment from 2-sport standout Adam Berghorst of Zeeland East High School.
The 6-foot-7, 245-pound prospect selected Michigan State over a host of impressive scholarship offers including Notre Dame, Michigan, Nebraska and Northwestern.
Berghorst will have an opportunity to play both baseball and football for the Spartans. Head Coach Mark Dantonio has always encouraged players to pursue that option when it is viable.
The commitment of Berghorst addresses an imlortan need for the class of 2019. It also gives Michigan State another one of the top prospects in the state. The Spartans now have 5 players from Michigan, all of which were highly coveted by Big Ten rivals.
SpartanMag.com will have more on Berghorst's commitment to Michigan State in the coming hours.
