Michigan State has added to the class of 2025 on special teams. The Spartans received a preferred walk-on commitment from long snapper Jack Wills on Tuesday.
“I love everything about Michigan State,” Wills told Spartans Illustrated. “I can’t wait to be a part of this change. Go Green!”
He announced his decision to commit to Michigan State on social media after he visited campus last weekend.
Additionally, co-special teams coordinator and rush ends coach Chad Wilt visited the Hudsonville, Michigan native at his school back in May, and Wills has taken other official visits to East Lansing previously as well.
As of now, Wills will be a preferred walk-on, according to Spartans Illustrated sources. He received that preferred walk-on offer back in April.
The in-state product had other offers from Central Michigan and Syracuse.
Wills is ranked No. 2 in Kornblue Kicking’s ranking of underclassmen long snappers. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Wills is just one of three five-stars in the Kornblue Kicking rankings for underclassmen.
