Michigan State and assistant head coach/offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic offered 2023 Indianapolis (IN) Roncalli OT Trevor Lauck in April 2021. At the time, he held just three power five offers from Kentucky, Rutgers, and Purdue. Since then, he has picked up offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, and more.

Lauck has remained a top priority for Michigan State throughout the process. The three-star prospect visited East Lansing last summer and again this weekend for Michigan State's Junior Day.
