Captains expect 'man's game' at Notre Dame

EAST LANSING – Michigan State seniors will do their best to prepare underclassmen for the intensity of a rivalry game on the road, but true understanding requires experience, according to linebacker Riley Bullough.

“I think they sort of understand it, but they don't really fully understand the environment that we're going to be in,” said Bullough, a second-year starter at middle linebacker, who contributed primarily on special teams the last time Michigan State played at Notre Dame in 2013.
