The Michigan State women's basketball team lost to rival Michigan by a final score of 77-67 on Sunday afternoon at the Breslin Center.

With head coach Suzy Merchant currently away from the team due to medical issues, interim head coach Dean Lockwood said the team is looking for "consistency."

"Defense and rebounding can keep you in games," Lockwood said. "But you have to score to win games."
