EAST LANSING - The Michigan State football team travels to Minnesota this weekend needing a win to becoming bowl eligible and extend the program's bowl streak to six season under head coach Mark Dantonio.
The Spartans are desperate for a victory and players are emphasizing attention to detail during the week of prep before hitting the road to play the Gophers in Minneapolis.
Nobody within the Michigan State program expected to be 5-6 entering the final week of Big Ten play. But the Spartans have accepted their predicament and hope to make most of the situation.
