EAST LANSING - The Michigan State football team is feeling refreshed physically and refocused mentally entering a critical two-game stretch that will determine whether the program's streak of consecutive bowl appearances will grow to six in 2012.
The Spartans need one more victory to become bowl eligible. A win over Northwestern would give Mark Dantonio's ballclub the required six wins required for a bowl berth.

Coming off a much-needed bye week, Michigan State is determined to celebrate senior day with a victory. But Northwestern is a formidable opponent. The Wildcats are looking to bounce back from an overtime loss to Michigan.
