MINNEAPOLIS - Michigan State has suffered through more disappointment than jubilation in 2012.
But the Spartans found a way to keep their streak of bowl appearances intact with a 26-10 win at Minnesota.
The win over the Golden Gophers doesn't lessen the disappointment of the 2012 season, but the victory is a consolation of sorts for a hard-working football team.
Being bowl eligible is significant because it will give players additional practices in December.
