Spartans sign four-star Tampa athlete

Michigan State kicked off signing day with the addition of four-star athlete T.J. Harrell. The Tampa Catholic star selected Michigan State over Louisville and Georgia from an offer list that included more than two dozen major conference programs.
Harrell, the cousin of former Spartan cornerback Jeremy Ware, is ranked the No. 12 athlete and No. 38 player in Florida for the Class of 2014.
Mark Dantonio tweeted the following after receiving Harrell's letter of intent on Wednesday morning.
Welcome to the Spartan Family: TJ Harrell "very versatile/ath, great power, complete football player" #molonlabe- Mark Dantonio (@DantonioMark) February 5, 2014
Harrell sent his letter of intent from Dallas where he and fellow Michigan State signees Craig Evans and Enoch Smith Jr. are preparing to represent the United States in the International Bowl.
