This past winter Kithier averaged a double-double for Dakota High. The Cougars finished 26-1 and lost eventual state champion Detroit Jesuit in the Class A semifinals. He also set the school record for blocked shots and is known for being a very good passer for a big man.

SpartanMag.com will have in-depth analysis of the commitment of Kithier to Michigan State in the near future. He is currently playing for the AAU team The Family. We have seen him play on numerous occasions and his game has rapidly developed over the last 12 months.
