The Fighting Irish come into Michigan and grab the top player in the state. This is the first time since 2007 the the #1 player in Michigan in not a Spartans or Wolverines. That was the year Ronald Johnson committed to USC.
Head Coach Brady Hoke and the Michigan Wolverines had another strong year signing 3 of the top 5 and and 6 of the top 12 players in the state for the class of 2013.
Mark Dantonio and the Michigan State Spartans scored with 3 of the top 7 players in the state.
Neither the Spartans of Wolverines offered Cameron Dillard, but the future Florida Gator stills cracks our top 10. It a a rare when a player without and in-state BCS offers makes it that high.
QB Bart Williams makes the list despite not being committed to a Division 1 school. The 2x 1st Team All-State performer could be a steal for GVSU.
SpartanMag.com rates Rivals 5-star Shane Morris #3. We have no doubt about his physical skills, but it is hard to rate him the #1 player when he missed much of his senior season and ended with the same amount of interceptions as touchdowns.
