Eric Gordon hits and runs....hard!

Eric Gordon of Traverse City West High School is an impressive prospect for the class of 2006. Before all is said and done, he could be the top linebacker in Michigan this fall. Gordon will be attending the Michigan State Spartan junior day on April 11th.

Gordon has camped at Michigan State and is very familiar with the Spartan program. Gordon's grandfather was an Academic All-American football player for the Green and White under Biggie Munn.

In the clips you will see that Gordon not only has good size and speed, but accelerates into the hit. The acceleration is what allows players to become big hitters. Gordon also shows his speed while playing running back. Gordon shared time last year at running back, but this year he will be the feature ball carrier. Look for him to put up impressive numbers on offense and defense.

In the picture above you can see Gordon at the State Powerlifting Championships. Gordon participated in the 220-pound weight class. Gordon is maxing out with 325 in the picture.
