Dantonio urges team to regroup before road test at Indiana

Mark Dantonio doesn't want one loss to become to with a road test at Indiana looming.

EAST LANSING – Mark Dantonio is challenging his team to bounce back from their 30-6 home loss to Wisconsin like they did a year ago after road loss to Nebraska.

“We have to recollect ourselves,” Dantonio said, “our destiny is still in our own hands just like the Nebraska situation last year, when we lost, we ended up playing all the people we needed to play to get that championship game, which is the Big Ten Championship game.”

If the Spartans fail to collect themselves, they could find themselves in serious trouble against an Indiana ball club that has routinely managed to score points against them during Kevin Wilson’s tenure.

“People have been saying a lot of good things about us lately, and now we'll take some shots. And I think that that's usually the case in these things, and we’ve got to regroup ourselves. Like I tell our players, you can always, always get worse. So we're going to pick ourselves up and get ready to go and play Indiana, and that's the nature of it.”
