Michigan State recently offered 2024 athlete Marcellus Barnes Jr. out of the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

MSU is recruiting Barnes as a cornerback, and he was extremely excited to get the verbal offer from the Spartans.

"It felt great to receive this offer," Barnes told Spartans Illustrated. "I love what Michigan State is doing."
