One DL sealed, another expects to visit

While West Virginia ponders the arrival of defensive lineman Tevita Finau, another DL plans to enroll in class in January, and yet a third is hoping to make an official visit.

Chris Palmer, who signed with the Mountaineers in February of 2007, decided to sit out the fall term while mending from double-shoulder surgery--similar to that of linebacker Reed Williams. He has professed himself ready for strength & conditioning director Mike Joseph's winter workout season. Meanwhile, Deion Roberson, who missed most of his senior season in high school (dislocated ankle), is attempting to firm up an official visitation date in the University City.
