Schroeder talks about his season

The quarterback is always one of the most important players on a football team and that may be even more true with David Cutcliffe than most. Dana Point (Calif.) Dana Hills quarterback Sean Schroeder is one of Duke's most highly-ranked commitments in the Class of 2009 and he's having a great season.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound passer is a three-star prospect and rated the No. 44 pro-style quarterback in the nation by Rivals.com. Thus far he has helped Dana Hills to a 3-2 record and is putting up good numbers. For the season he has passed for 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns, while completing 67-percent of his passes. He now leads the county in passing yards.
