Murray goes on record about UGA
Questions are asked daily around the South about Aaron Murray's commitment to the University of Georgia. Rumors still swirl about him looking at the Florida Gators over two months since he made his decision. After picking Georgia over 50 other programs, we sat down with the Elite 11 QB to find out the details of his decision.
Murray took the time to sit down for this exclusive interview when we visited Plant High School not too long ago. He broke down his decision for us, talked about why he chose the Bulldogs, and when he started feeling Athens was the place for him.
The 6-foot-1 signal caller out of Tampa was one of the most coveted prospects at his position in the entire country. Many thought he would stay in state and become a Gator, but that was not the case.
He is now getting ready to enter his final semester of high school football as a Plant Panther before packing his bags for the University of Georgia.

"It (the commitment) has definitely set in and I feel great about it too. I don't look back on it at all or regret anything. I am happy with my choice Georgia. I just look forward to getting up there next January and helping lead the team to the National Championship."

I made it clear that my commitment is my commitment and I am not going back on it. It is my word and the only time I will change it is if something drastic happens and the coaching staff leaves or something like that. Other than that, I am a Georgia Bulldog."
