Sooners have a look at California QB

As of late it's hard to find a state producing more top-flight quarterback talent than Texas, but if there is one state that consistently puts up the type of signal callers that the Lone Star State has in the class of 2009, it's California. One player leading the way in California's group of quarterbacks is Rancho Cucamonga Los Osos's Richard Brehaut.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound gunslinger already holds offers from Colorado, Boise State, and San Diego State with more interest coming in from around the country. One school that recently came by to see him is Oklahoma in the form of quarterbacks coach Josh Heupel.

"Oklahoma had mailed me before but today was the first in-person contact I had with them," Brehaut said.
