Three 2009 commits talk UGA visit

Three of the many talented visitors in Athens over the weekend for Junior Day arrived as commitments for the Bulldogs class of 2009. Chris Burnette, Chase Vasser, and Zach Mettenberger were there and they loved it. They were able to relax, get to know the coaches, mingle with other recruits, and get to know more about their future home.

We caught up with all three and asked them the same five questions in this feature. Find out more about the commitment's visit to UGA here.

How did the visit to Georgia go?

BURNETTE: "The visit was great. We got to see the dorms, the basketball game, how the academics works, we got to meet some of the players, and everything was great. It was even better than I expected it to be. I loved it."

VASSER: "It was fun, I really enjoyed it. I got to see a lot of the recruits Georgia is recruiting, meet two of the commitments, and I got to talk to Coach Richt and Coach Jancek, and I met all the coaches. I hung out with Rennie Curran, Tavarres King and DeMarcus Dobbs some too."

METT: "It was cool. We got to talk with the coaches, get a relationship with them, talk with other recruits about the process, and it was really a great experience."
