Gillespie picks K-State

Kansas State's 2008 freshman class grew by at least one this weekend, as Jenks (Okla.) High School defensive tackle Tony Gillespie announced his intention to suit up for K-State next season during a meeting with Wildcat head coach Ron Prince on Sunday morning. The 298-pound defensive lineman says he has not been asked to grayshirt and should be ready to take the field upon his arrival in Manhattan next fall.

"I had a long talk with Coach Prince about life and a little about football," Gillespie said of the meeting that preceded his commitment.
