Georgia offers talented Florida QB

The University of Georgia just visited this sunshine state quarterback recently and they must have seen what they needed to say. Just recently Georgia started offered select juniors and Aaron Murray.

"I was in the middle of an off-season workout Friday and Coach [Mike] Bobo called my coach (Robert Weiner) to let him know that they wanted to offer me and my coach came over to tell me about it then."

"My coach came over and said that I now have a chance to play for the Georgia Bulldogs, so I was very happy and excited about it."

Was this Bulldog offer a surprise to Murray or was he anticipating it?

"Well, I can't really talk to coaches yet because I am junior, but he pretty much told my coach that they were looking at about five quarterbacks and they want to take two in this class."

"He told Coach Weiner that I was his first visit, he had seen me in camp and he really liked me, so not to be surprised if within a couple of weeks I got an offer."

"So, I wasn't really expecting it this quick, so it was kind of surprise and I am very happy about it and very greatful for it."
