Ohio running back ready for visits

Columbus Eastmoor running back Isaiah Pead (5' 10" 185) had a huge senior year on the playing field. As we come of the recruiting Dead Period Pead is anxious to resume the recruiting process.

"Pitt assistant coach Chris Ball was recruiting me but since he left I have been talking to Coach Charlie Partridge."

This past fall Isaiah Pead helped Eastmoor Academy to a 9-1 record. Their only loss was to city league rival Marion-Franklin by a score of 16-13. Unfortunately that loss and a point system cost the Warriors a shot at the playoffs. The Warriors rolled over the other teams on their schedule winning by an average score of 51-6.

Over the past two years Pead rushed for 3,900 yards and 63 touchdowns. In his senior year Pead rushed for 2,204 yards and 39 touchdowns. On defense Pead intercepted 6 passes.

Pead was recognized for his accomplishments in his senior year by being named first team all-state in Division III by the Associated Press. He was also named Co-Offensive Player of the Year in that classification.
