Hanohano has a recruiting favorite

Geordon Hanohano, from St. Louis High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, took his first official visit to San Diego State in mid-December. The 6-foot-2, 275-pound defensive tackle will take his next trip to Arizona on January 18th.

"My trip to San Diego State was fun, it was different," Hanohano said. "I had never been to San Diego before so it was kind of just a tourist trip for me. As of right now I am probably pushing them to the side.

"Right now it looks like I will decide between Arizona and Hawaii. I am kind of leaning towards Arizona. They are just one of the schools that have been recruiting me for a really long time. They have shown a lot of interest in me and they are one of the main schools talking to me right now."

Hanohano also holds scholarship offers from Washington and New Mexico State.

Ranked by Rivals.com as the third best prospect from the Aloha State this cycle, Hanohano earned first-team all-state honors as a senior. He was also selected to play in the state's all-star game.
