Martin visits Iowa City

After earning first team all-state honors this season, Cleveland Glenville prospect Jermil Martin continues to draw major college interest. This weekend, the 6-foot-1, 230-pound Martin made his first official visit with a trip to the University of Iowa.

Martin, who earned all-state honors as a defensive lineman, has received interest at a number of different positions. During the official visit, where his host was fellow Glenville product Bruce Davis, he had a chance to talk with the Iowa coaching staff about the different possibilities.

The Hawkeyes were the first school to offer Martin back in the summer, but since that time, he has also picked up offers from Wisconsin and West Virginia. The all-state performer, who is also still hearing from Ohio State, hopes to set additional visits in the near future.
