Rowell keeps it real about offer situation

One of the more talked about players in the 2008 class in Ohio has to be Shawntel Rowell. The lineman out of Glenville High School has a world of potential because of his size and natural athleticism. However some have worried that he is too big for his own good. Because of that Rowell has been working hard to get his weight under control, and with that has come improved play and more recruiting attention.

Currently the Glenville Tarblooders are on a three game winning streak and have upped their record on the season to 4-2. For Rowell that is good, but not great. "I can't say too much about (our season), we lost two games, but we are playing well, and it looks like we are going to the playoffs so that is the good news. I have learned a lot, we are just trying to play hard and everything."

One of the reasons why Glenville's record doesn't jump out at people is because of an extremely tough early schedule. There might not be a team in the Midwest that played a tougher first three games than the Tarblooders. They faced off against Indianapolis Warren Central, Long Beach Poly, and Cincinnati St. Xavier is successive weeks.
