Ohio OL looking for State offer

With a dozen scholarship offers already on the table, offensive line prospect Chad Hounshell of Lake Catholic High School in Mentor, Ohio is one of the top un-committed players in the state. The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Hounshell is rated the #39 player in Ohio for the class of 2008 and is a 3-star prospect.

Hounshell and his Lake Catholic team are currently 2-2, but no team in Ohio plays a tougher slate than the Cougars. Last week Lake Catholic lost a hard fought battle to Division 1 power Dublin -Coffman by a score of 26-21. Coffman is lead by a bevy of Division 1 recruits including Mike Adams, Jake Stoneburner, Trey Fairchild, Steve Gardiner and Zack Stoudt.

This week the schedules gets even tougher as Lake Catholic travel to Youngstown to take on nationally ranked Cardinal Mooney High School which is lead by Brandon Beachum, Mike Zordich, Taylor Hill and Dan McCarney.

Hounshell talked about those games

Hounshell has a solid list of scholarships, which include BCS schools such as Colorado, Kansas, Indiana and Cincinnati, but it is a few other schools that have his attention.
