UGA visit rescheduled, UF visit coming up

One of the two expected official visitors in Athens last weekend was Rivals250 offensive tackle Zebrie Sanders. Sanders planned to visit Georgia first this fall, but that could not happen due to inclement weather in Ohio.

"We had some really bad thunderstorms come through Friday night, so they postponed our game until Saturday," said Sanders. "As soon as that happened, I knew I better call Georgia to let them know I would not be there for my official visit."

Just minutes after the game was postponed, Sanders got on the phone with Georgia's offensive line Stacy Searels.

"I told Coach Searels what had happened and that I wouldn't be able to make it down for the South Carolina game."

The UGA coaches weren't happy, but they were not the only ones.

"Man, I was disappointed, my mom was disappointed and they were disappointed," said the four-star tackle. "We all planned for me to be down there, so we were all excited about it. I had to keep my team first, so I knew I couldn't make the trip."
