Solomon Koehler is a huge road block

He is a 6-foot-2, 305-pound human roadblock along the defensive line, known for his superior strength and underrated athleticism. And as arguably the top 2008 prospect in Hawaii, whose stock is still rising nationwide, defensive tackle Solomon Koehler is a player to keep an eye on.

Several colleges are currently paying close attention to the standout from Castle High School (Kaneohe, HI). Koehler has offers from Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State, San Diego State, and Hawaii. He is also hearing some from California, Notre Dame, USC, and Washington.

Koehler's strength and athletic ability are a big reason why he is climbing the recruiting charts. He benches 405 pounds, squats 550, has 4.9 speed, and a 39-inch vertical. And on top of all that, he adds playmaking skills and a good football mind to the package.
