Waller DT's versatility is intriguing

Much has been made about Texas Tech's lack of depth and experience on the interior of its defensive line recently. After going a few years without signing any high school defensive tackles of note, the Red Raiders have changed course and have signed six over the last two years, with the intention of signing at least two more this year.

One of those potential prospects is Waller product Eddie Brown. Brown, who recently weighed in at 6-foot, 270-pounds and ran a 4.7 forty yard dash, is a do-it-all machine for his high school, having lined up everywhere from fullback to linebacker to defensive tackle.

His favorite schools include Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Minnesota, Nebraska and others.
