Rivals' guru weighs in on U-M's current class
With an average of 3.70 stars per man among its 10-recruit commitment class so far, Michigan is off to a very good start this year. The Wolverines have at least eight more scholarships to offer, and could finish with 20 or more this year. Rivals.com recruiting analyst Mike Farrell is impressed with U-M's haul and he highlights their class in this Q&A
What are your overall impressions of Michigan's class thus far?
"I think they're doing very well, especially instate. Last year was a weird year in Michigan. A lot of kids wanted to go out of state, had grown up fans of other schools, for whatever reason. This year, Michigan has commitments from, maybe, the top two kids - [cornerback] Boubacar Cissoko and [offensive lineman] Dann O'Neill - and they probably could have [tailback] Jonas Gray if they want him. To get those two guys up front, when they lost out on the two best kids last year, is important.
