Most high school prospects with the goal of playing on the Division I level attend summer camps hoping to make a statement, catch the eye of college coaches, and in turn earn some scholarship offers. That's exactly what has happened to defensive tackle Jerel Worthy from Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne High School.
His camp performances thus far are starting to bear fruit. So far, he has drawn recent offers from Cincinnati, Ohio, Marshall, Akron and Nebraska. A few others like Ohio State, West Virginia and Purdue could be close to tendering him.
