Camp standout earns offer from Auburn

Summer camps always present an opportunity for high school prospects to step up and earn a scholarship. This weekend, Huntsville (Ala.) J.O. Johnson defensive lineman Jomarcus Savage did just that at an Auburn camp.

"The camp went pretty good," said Savage. "I just enjoyed the whole atmosphere. There was so much competition and I love competition and competing against the best in the South.

"I think I did very well. We got to go against the Top 5 offensive linemen and I beat them all in 1-on-1's."

It wasn't long afterwards that Savage received the good news from AU defensive line coach Don Dunn.
