L.A. big man hearing from the Bruins

Lavon McCoy from Washington HS in L.A. (6-3, 338, 5.0) is one of the more versatile lineman in Southern California this recruiting cycle. He is being recruited as an offensive lineman and defensive tackle. Coach Eric Scott has been in touch with him for the Bruins' staff.

As a junior, McCoy was named first team all-city at defensive tackle. "Schools are recruiting me on both sides of the ball, but if I had a choice it would be defense," McCoy explains. "I think in college I will play either at offensive guard or at tackle on defense, but some schools have mentioned that they like me as an offensive tackle."
