Current expects to see spring visitors
With Ohio State filling up their commitment needs along the offensive line, the state of Ohio is wide open for anyone looking to secure offensive linemen.
Jake Current of perennial powerhouse Troy High School is one of the top offensive linemen in Ohio and a player the Spartans are recruiting in 2008.
At 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, Current is being looked at by several schools as an offensive lineman. He is also versatile enough to play a number of positions along the defensive line and is open to playing on that side of the ball in college.
Current has already picked up a few offers in the early stages of the recruiting process. Among the teams that have offered Current are Indiana, Miami (Ohio) and Cincinnati. Current has also heard from Air Force.
