Fairchild sorting through visit plans

Adding a couple of skill position playmakers is a key priority for the Duke Blue Devils in the class of 2008, and Dublin (Ohio) Coffman athlete Trey Fairchild would certainly fit the bill.

The 6-1, 175 pounder is in the process of evaluating several schools on his list this spring and hopes to keep that up by lining up some more visits, including a stop in Durham to see Duke.

"I went to Syracuse a few weeks ago and had planned on going to Duke this past weekend but I had a rescheduled track meet so I had to cancel that. I'm planning to see Duke at some point and Ball State, probably some time either this spring or early summer. And also Navy, they wanted me to come out and see that plus Princeton and a couple of Ivy League schools want me to come out and see them. I'm not sure where all I'm going to yet because it can get pretty pricey going out to see all the schools."
