Four offers for Coates

Given NC State head coach Tom O'Brien and offensive line coach Don Horton's success developing top units at Boston College, the Wolfpack faithful have every reason to be excited about the future of the line in Raleigh.

Part of that future may involve offensive guard Harold Coates. Last year Coates, 6-foot-1, 315 pounds, transferred from Oliver High School in Pittsburgh to Ursuline High in Youngstown, Ohio. And now he has emerged as a prospect on NC State's recruiting board.

Coates claims NC State among his four offers, the others being Indiana, Illinois and Marshall. Cincinnati, Ohio State, Penn State and Pittsburgh are showing interest.
