SC after elite DT

Marcus Forston, of Miami (Fla.) Northwestern, might spark a little deja vu for many University of Southern California football fans.

This east-coast defensive tackle is lighting quick at nearly 300-pounds and has the attention of every major program in the country.

If that sounds familiar it's because Forston smacks of last season's No. 1 defensive tackle recruit, Marvin Austin.

Just like Austin, it looks like the path to his letter of intent could be a long one. "I don't have a top five right now," Forston said, "because everyone is telling me the same thing."

USC is still very early in their recruiting process with Forston; just recently having offered him a scholarship they have apparently not gone into much detail about his future with USC.
