Buckeyes not a lock for Ohio LB

Very few prospects from Ohio end playing anywhere but for Ohio State. But right now linebacker Brandon Beachum from Cardinal Mooney in Youngstown has yet to receive an offer from the Buckeyes, which has left the door open for some other schools.

Beachum, who attended the memorable Ohio State-Michigan game last fall in Columbus, will not automatically commit to the Buckeyes if they were to offer.

Beachum has approximately 15 offers at this time with the most recent ones coming from West Virginia, LSU, Colorado and Michigan State.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder pointed out a couple of programs that have been coming on strong of late.
