Armstead talks about Husky junior day
Armond Armstead is one of the most coveted prospects on the west coast. His stock continues to soar and the Huskies are in hot pursuit. Armond was able to attend Junior Day at the University of Washington along with his father Gus Armstead. The Armsteads shared their junior day experience with us.
"Washington is definitely a top choice, if not the top choice," said Gus Armstead. "We really enjoyed meeting with all of the coaches. Coach Randy Hart has been there for over twenty years. We were really impressed," he said.
Armond is an intriguing prospect. At only the age 16, Armond is 6-foot-6 and still growing. "Washington is fine with Armond playing offense or defense. Armond has so much potential. He will be entering college at the age of 17," said Gus Armstead.
