Elite Ohio TE making early visit to UK

The two players have never met, but UK tight end Jacob Tamme has sparked Brandon Moore's interest in Kentucky. The Class of 2008 star from Trotwood, Ohio, already sports 21 scholarship offers, and he is taking an unofficial visit to Kentucky largely because of Tamme's All-SEC season.

Trotwood-Madison coach Maurice Douglass played at Kentucky in the 1980s, but UK has yet to tap into the stream of talent Trotwood consistently produces. Kentucky assistant Chuck Smith has been very active with Moore in hopes of reversing that trend.

Moore (6-6, 230, 4.65) says that even though UK is recruiting against traditional powers such as Michigan, Georgia, and Ohio State, Smith has an intriguing sales pitch.
