Rivals250 DT looking at options

Las Vegas (Nevada) Western High School product Lawrence Guy, a defensive tackle/offensive guard, has a who's who of Western universities interested in the 6-foot-5, 256-pound lineman. Arizona State, Oregon, SDSU, UCLA, UNLV, Nevada and Cal have all shown interest in the specimen, who posted a 5.5-second 40 and a 4.6 in the shuttle run - not to mention a 25-inch vertical leap.

"I'm looking for the best program out there for football and school," said Guy.

With that sentiment, Guy really has no preference right now on what that school will look like.

"It really doesn't matter to me," said Guy. "My education is really important to me, but not the campus."

Being from Las Vegas, he has a take on the UNLV program.

"I haven't been paying much attention to them lately, but they've been pretty bad," he said. "Like I said before, I'm looking for the best program."

There are a few schools out there, though, that have impressed the member of the Rivals.com Pre-evaluation Rivals250.

"I like SDSU," he said. "They're a program on the rise. I also like ASU and Cal."
