Mountaineers offer another St. Xavier stud
St. Xavier High School of Cincinnati has been very good to West Virginia football in recent years. About three years ago came offensive lineman Ryan Stanchek, the bell-cow of this season's revised front; then recently outside linebacker Vince Harris signed a letter of intent with hopes of coming to the campus this summer with the rest of the Class of 2007.
Now comes running back Darius Ashley--he comes very quickly as a matter-of-fact. The 5-foot-9, 185-pounder ran a laser-timed 4.44 40-yard-dash at St. X last summer.
