Auburn creates buzz with Dyer commit

Signing Day is still three months away but Auburn is already creating a buzz with its 2010 class. The Tigers' momentum really picked up Friday with the commitment of running back Michael Dyer.

"Dyer is really a headliner for (AU head coach) Gene Chizik and someone that can be a domino for other recruits. You've gotta hand it to that Auburn staff, they have not shied from any of the nation's top prospects and that is really beginning to pay dividends," national recruiting analyst Barton Simmons said.

Dyer is one of just 21 prep prospects rated as a five-star by He's ranked as the No. 3 running back and No. 17 overall player in the nation.
