Originally a member of the class of 2012 who ranked No. 107 in that Rivals150, Gray averaged more than nine points and three assists per game as a freshman for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Now at Odessa (Texas) Midland College for his sophomore year, Gray is a scoring point guard who can create off the bounce. He's streaky from deep, but he is very good working his way into the lane, where he finishes with floaters and short jumpers. A three-star prospect, Gray sits right on the bubble of four-star territory and he joins four-star JUCO big man Cinmeon Bowers in FSU's early class.
The 6-foot-7 combo forward has long been considered a Boilermaker lean, and he sealed the deal shortly before the Boilers took the field against Notre Dame.
Edwards is a rangy forward who likes to shoot midrange jumpers. He is fluid, he gets from end of the floor to the other well, and he can rebound when motivated to do so. At Purdue, he'll be expected to add weight and play with more physicality.
At No. 122 in the class of 2014, Edwards is the second Rivals150 player from Ohio to pick Purdue. he joins No. 141 Dakota Mathias.
