Here's a look at the stats and scores from the entire Texas Class of 2009, as well as other key names/targets/prospects from 2009-2011.
Texas 2009 commitments
QB - Garrett Gilbert - Lake Travis Gilbert completed 12 of 25 passes for 234 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 125 yards and five touchdowns on 12 carries, in 55-32 win over Alice in the Alamodome. Through 13 games, Gilbert has completed 236 of 244 passes for 3,848 yards, 44 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He also has added 514 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground.
TE - Trey Graham - Waco Midway
Graham did not catch a pass in Midway's thrilling 41-36 win over Highland Park on Friday. Overall, Graham has caught 18 passes for 240 yards and four touchdowns.
OL - Mason Walters - Frenship
The undefeated Tigers rolled up 385 yards of offense in their 38-35 win over Denton Ryan. Walters has graded out at 93% or better each week this season, has 32 pancakes, 46 knockdowns and has allowed only one sack all season.
OL - Thomas Ashcraft - Cedar Hill
Cedar Hill plays Southlake Carroll on Saturday at Texas Stadium. Last week, the Longhorns ran right behind the backside of Ashcraft for 338 yards rushing and they racked up 399 yards of total offense in a 31-18 win over state power Southlake Carroll.
OL - Garrett Porter - Odessa Permian
Permian rushed for 314 yards and passed for 152 yards, but it wasn't enough in a 28-22 loss to Allen. Through the first ten games this season, Porter had 98 pancake blocks and 104 knock-downs.
OL - Paden Kelley - Lake Travis
The Cavs rolled up 451 yards of offense, as they beat Alice 55-32.
Other key 2009 prospects
WR - A.J. Dugat - Dayton
Dugat and Co. play Rosenburg Terry tonight at 7PM at The Woodlands. Last week, Dugat did it all for Dayton again on this night, catching six passes for 158 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 86 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, as the Broncos blasted Elgin 41-14 to advance to the third round of the playoffs. Dugat has 87 receptions for 1,395 yards and 17 touchdowns as a receiver, while adding 485 yards and six touchdowns on 46 carries.
Ath - Cody Green - Dayton
Dayton plays Rosenburg Terry on Saturday at 7PM. Green has completed 180 of 277 passes for 2,464 yards and 26 touchdowns (only four interceptions), while adding 920 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground.
Ath - Dexter Pratt - Navasota
The LSU commit rushed for 82 yards in a 34-28 overtime loss to Waco LaVega on Friday. Pratt now has 1,352ards and 19 touchdowns on 170 carries for the season.
QB - Tyrik Rollison - Sulpher Springs
Rollison completed 21 of 26 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding 67 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries in a 42-14 blasting of Denison.
QB - Russell Shepard - Houston Cy Ridge
Shepard was a showstopper against Copperas Cove, rushing for 311 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries, while also completing 12 of 20 passes for 227 and three more touchdowns in a 55-48 loss to Copperas Cove. For the season, Shepard completed 116 of 211 passes for 1,842 yards, 20 touchdowns and four interceptions. Shepard also has rushed for 1,946 yards and 28 touchdowns on 258 carries.
Other key 2010 prospects
WR - Mike Davis - Dallas Skyline
Skyline takes on Cypress Woods today in Waco at 2PM. Last week, Davis caught five passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns in Skyline's 51-26 win over DeSoto. So far this season, Davis has 50 receptions for 1,034 yards and 14 touchdowns.
WR - Kyle Guinyard - Ennis
The fast-rising junior caught nine passes for 92 yard in Ennis' 17-14 loss to Rockwall Heath. For the season, Guinyard had 110 receptions for 1,751 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Ath - James Haynes - West-Orange Stark
WOS takes on Gilmer today in Lufkin at 2:30 PM. The do-everything Haynes played great defense and added 31 yards on two carries on offense, as WOS rolled to a 37-7 win over Caldwell. Haynes is a full-time defensive player, but he also has 10 receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown as a receiver, along with 221 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
RB - D.J. Jones - Denison
Jones rushed 134 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries in Denison's 42-21 loss to Sulpher Springs.
Other key 2011 prospects
Ath - Quandre Diggs - Angleton
Angleton takes on Beaumont Central on Saturday at 6PM in Galena. Last week, Diggs rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns in Angleton's 55-19 win over Davis. Diggs has rushed for 1,321 yards and 21 touchdowns on 115 carries, while also adding two receptions for121 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.
QB - Driphus Jackson - Cedar Hill
Cedar Hill takes on Mansfield at noon today at Texas Stadium. Last week, Jackson completed five of nine pass 61 yards and a touchdown, while adding 93 yards on 14 carries as a runner in Cedar Hill's 31-18 win over Southlake Carroll. For Jackson had completed 95 of 175 for 1,041 yards and six touchdowns (nine interceptions), while adding 691 yards and six touchdowns on 126 carries.
WR - Miles Onyegbule - Arlington
Arlington plays Euless Trinity at 8Pm tonight at Texas Stadium. Onyegbule had three receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown in Arlington's 28-27 win over Odessa last week. Onyegbule has 36 receptions for 521 yards and five touchdowns this season.
Ath - Desmond Rowland - Lake Highlands
Highland plays Klein Oak today in Round Rock at 3pm. Rowland rushed for 72 yards on eight carries, while adding five receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown in Lake Highland's 28-27 win over John Tyler last week. Rowland has 822 yards and five touchdowns on 95 carries, along with 18 catches for 311 yards and four touchdowns as a receiver.
Ath - Stephen Williams - Round Rock Stony Point
Stony Point plays Garland today at 2PM in Waco. Last week, Williams caught 23 yards and a touchdown on three receptions, along with 23 yards rushing on three carries in a 21-7 win over The Woodlands. Williams has 43 receptions for 540 yards and a touchdown, along with 283 yards and two touchdowns on 49 carries.
RB - Tevin Williams - Euless Trinity
Trinity plays Arlington today at Texas Stadium. Last week, Williams rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in Trinity's 42-35 win over Plano. Williams leads the Trojans in rushing with 1,001 yards and 19 touchdowns on 169 carries, along with six catches for 90 yards as a receiver.
