In mid-summer Nebraska obtained a commitment from one of the top linebackers in the state of Ohio in Doug Rippy from Trotwood-Madison High, and the 6-foot-2, 220-pounder helped lead his team to a successful regular season. Next on tap is the post-season for the hard-hitting defender.

If there were to be coaching changes at the end of the year, Rippy says he's unsure of what he would do, but he is solidly committed at this time.
