Machen takes in GT homecoming
Hilliard (Ohio) Darby linebacker and Georgia Tech commitment B.J. Machen returned to Atlanta this past weekend to see the Yellow Jackets' homecoming win over Army. It was Machen's first trip back to Tech since he made his commitment over the summer.
"Everything went great," Machen said. "We won so it was a good visit of course. It was a fun experience. I got to meet more of the players and I got to spend time with them before and after the game. I got to spend time with the recruits in my class. I sat with four or five other recruits and watched the game with them. I just hung out and enjoyed the campus and enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a good homecoming atmosphere and a little preview of what it's going to be like for the next four or five years. I can't wait to get down there."
Machen liked meeting up with some of his future teammates, including fellow linebacker Steven Sylvester.
