Zach Kerr talks Terps visit
Saturday night was a big one for the Maryland football team both on and off of the field.
An hour or so before game time, head coach Ralph Friedgen made an offer to senior running back Davin Meggett, and the Surrattsville product committed.
Afterwards, several other recruiting targets watched the Terps defeat Villanova, 31-14. Among those keeping tabs on the Terps was MD star defensive tackle Zach Kerr.
The 6-2, 315-pound Quince Orchard High School defensive tackle said he doesn't have a formal list of favorites, but has the Terps as one of his five teams to watch.
"I don't have them in any kind of an order or anything, but I am keeping a close eye on Maryland, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Illinois and Rutgers. Right now I just have to keep getting more information and make some more visits to these schools and find out where I would fit in," he said.
